As we await the opening of a brand new student facility on Elm Grove, we’re operating from three main locations across Brighton:
The Meeting House is the base of the wider Chaplaincy on Sussex campus. This is where Sunday evening Masses and the CathSoc socials are held. You will also find a kitchen, toilets, coffee machine and quiet room for your use.
The Watts building is at the heart of Moulsecoomb campus, and we gather here 12:00 on Wednesdays in room 406 for “Soul Space”, an opportunity for prayer and discussion, before sharing lunch together in the canteen.
St Joseph’s Church is at the bottom of Elm Grove, near the town centre. This is where “Deep Waters” is held, a popular student/young adults’ group that meets Wednesdays 6:45pm and Sunday after 11am Mass.
A new parish community hub is currently under construction, which will contain a dedicated space for students, including a common room, library and kitchenette. It is located just over the road from St Joseph’s Church on Elm Grove. We look forward to focusing our activities form here when it opens in Spring 2027!
