Welcome!
The chaplaincy operates from four main locations across Brighton. For a video showing how to find us, click here.
Howard House is the home of the Catholic Chaplaincy and is situated opposite Falmer station. It is a base for Fr Rod and home to seven students. Facilities include an oratory chapel, kitchen and common room for the use of all, and this is where we gather on Tuesday evenings.
The Meeting House is the base of the wider Chaplaincy on Sussex campus. This is where most Masses are held and where Fr Rod’s office is situated. You will also find a kitchen, toilets, coffee machine and quiet room for your use.
Manor House on Moulsecoomb campus of Brighton University is where you can meet with the chaplains for a one-to-one chat or cup of tea, in room 17. Please get in touch to arrange a time.
St Joseph’s Church is at the bottom of Elm Grove, near the town centre. This is where Jo is based, and this parish hosts a popular Young Adults’ group that currently gets together after Adoration, 6:30pm on Friday evenings.
